Phony Businessman

A young businessman had just started his own firm. He’d rented a beautiful office and had it furnished with antiques.

Sitting there, he saw a man come into the outer office. Wishing to appear busy, the businessman picked up the phone and started to pretend he had a big deal working. He threw huge figures around and made giant commitments.

Finally, he hung up and asked the visitor, “Can I help you?” The man said, “Sure. I’ve come to install the phone!”

=D

Back in the 80's when cellphones was a new phenomena a friend of mine stopped at a traffic accident to help. She realized that she had to call for an ambulance but the nearest house or phone booth was far away. She looked up and saw a guy in a Mercedes slowly drive by the accident while speaking in a cellphone. She jumped out into the road and stopped him and ordered him to hang up and call an ambulance.

The guy blushed and squirmed and then he showed her that the cellphone he was holding was a toy.
